The word chakra in sanskrit translates to a disc or wheel. This is a classification system of energy and how it moves through the body. Although not seen with the eye, it can be known through intuition and experience. That makes them no less real and is starting to be studied more seriously in the scientific community.
“The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.” ~Nikola Tesla
Within this chakra system of subtle energy, we can start to see and understand that different frequencies (lightwaves and sound waves) effect different systems of the body. If you shine a light through a prism, it breaks into 7 visible colors of light.
Each color is associated with a frequency, demonstrating that the frequency of red has a longer wavelength than purple and therefore effects the body differently.
We react to color. Some colors we love, some not so much. If we look at this as simply information, rather than good or bad, we can start to gain some insight in where our chakra system may be in or out of balance. It is through our chakras, that we can learn to balance all aspects of ourselves. Let’s go over them individually.
