The Kula Yoga Kids Mentor Certification Program is a semester-long apprenticeship designed for aspiring children’s yoga teachers who want more than a traditional weekend training.
Rather than learning only in a classroom, you’ll gain real-world experience by observing, assisting, and teaching alongside Michele Guess, E-RYT 500, founder of Kula Yoga Kids. Throughout the semester, you’ll receive personalized mentorship while working with children in a variety of settings, including preschool programs, elementary after-school enrichment, Mommy & Me Yoga, kids aerial yoga, camps, and community classes.
As your confidence grows, so will your role. You’ll begin by observing experienced instruction, progress to assisting with classes, and ultimately lead lessons while receiving supportive feedback every step of the way.
This heart-centered mentorship blends yoga philosophy, child development, mindfulness, classroom management, lesson planning, and hands-on teaching experience to prepare you to become a skilled, compassionate, and confident children’s yoga teacher.
Whether your dream is to teach in schools, studios, community programs, or build your own children’s yoga business, you’ll graduate with the knowledge, experience, and support to begin making a meaningful impact in the lives of children.

Foundations Mentorship — $795
Build a strong foundation in children’s yoga, mindfulness, classroom leadership, and teaching methodology.
Kids Aerial Yoga Add-On — $500 (Total Program: $1,295)
Learn safe aerial yoga instruction, spotting techniques, classroom management with aerial equipment, and how to confidently teach children’s aerial yoga classes.
Neurodivergent Yoga Add-On — $495
Gain specialized training in creating inclusive, supportive yoga experiences for neurodivergent children, including sensory considerations, communication strategies, behavior support, and adaptive teaching techniques.
